Surah Al-Jathiyah ("The Kneeling" or "The Crouching"), the 45th chapter of the Quran, is a Meccan surah consisting of 37 verses.
The Surah presents a forceful argument for the core tenets of Islamic faith: divine unity (Tawhid), the truth of the Quran, and the certainty of the Day of Judgment. The name of the chapter is derived from verse 28, which describes all nations kneeling before God on the Day of Resurrection.
The surah invites humanity to reflect on the "signs of God" present in the natural world as proof of His power and existence. These signs include:
The heavens and the earth
The creation of human beings and all other living creatures
The alternation of day and night
The life-giving rain that revives the earth
The shifting of the winds
